We’re All Heart, a free community event featuring a cooking demonstration, appetizers, blood pressure screening and presentations from three of the area’s leading physicians marks the close of Heart Awareness Month.
The event takes place from 5 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 28, at Northwest Community Hospital, 800 W. Central Road, Arlington Heights.
It starts at 5 p.m. with a 30-minute live cooking demonstration by NCH Executive Chef Rena Parks. She will create heart-healthy dishes that feature spices, rather than salt, to create flavorful meals. From 5 to 6 p.m., mingle while enjoying appetizers and beverages. At the same time, health information and blood pressure screens will take place.
From 6 to 7 p.m., heart and vascular health will be the focus of physician presentations:

More time to socialize or meet the physicians continues until the end of the program at 7:30 p.m.
